What can you do ?

Changing a learning and teaching environment can benefit a child’s educational progress no end and that’s why we at ACTS feel it is important to get as many children in the schools that we support ‘Off the Ground’ and onto desks as soon as possible. future of Kenya. Currently, children as old as 18 have to sit on the hard concrete floors while studying for their final exams (equivalent to A levels). Equipping a classroom in this way is cheaper than you might expect with desks costing around GBP 30 to seat two students or GBP 40 for 12 kindergarten students. Any donation we receive, no matter how big or small will be used entirely to assist the schools & children supported by ACTS.		Just one year ago, all the children that you can see in the photo on the left had to sit on the floor each day when they came to school.
		Now, thanks to the generous support of ACTS donors, we have been able to supply desks and benches for these children and they have the opportunity to learn in a civilized and conducive setting.
