Supported schools and colleges

ACTS supports a large selection of primary, secondary and higher education establishments in Kenya, to enable its students to access a wide range of subjects and vocational training opportunities. For many children, continuing their education after completion of primary level would not be possible without the generous support of new and continuing sponsors and donors. This funding enables them to choose the academic establishments best suited to their needs and offers them a chance to gain a professional qualification or academic recognition in their chosen field. By supporting the work of ACTS you are not only assisting a child to school but are assisting them to find a place in the world as educated and self reliant adults, providing the way forward for the future of Kenya.		While many people like the personal involvement that comes with sponsoring a child, others feel that they cannot provide that level of commitment or would prefer to make a contribution to a larger group of children.

		If this applies to you, your company or your group, why not think about making a donation, which will be used to benefit a larger number of children over a period of time. We may use your donation to provide one of the ACTS supported schools with much needed desks and equipment. This will be of benefit to all the children as they will no longer have to sit on the floor – and the benefits will continue for many classes to come !

		Alternatively, we may buy books or classroom equipment, once again ensuring a continued source of benefit to many children for an extended period of years. If you or your group has a particular request for the way you would like the money to be used, just let us know when you send your donation. We at ACTS will do our best to ensure that your wishes are met. Whether you want to decide or you want us to channel the money into the most worthy cause at the time, we will send you information on the way that your money has been spent and keep you updated on further ACTS developments through our regular newsletter.
